FLORIDA CHILD SUPPORTFlorida Statute §61.30 sets forth the Child Support Guidelines which is the basic starting place for all child support calculations. Although these guidelines are strict, they can be modified at a later time if either party's income significantly changes or special needs of the child must be met. I have the latest computer programs to calculate the amount of child support that should be paid. I help clients with a wide range of child support issues. If child support payments need to be increased or decreased we go back to court and request such. The court always maintains jurisdiction over this issue. Sometimes, during and after a divorce, a parent may attempt to hide income to prevent the proper amount of child support payment to be paid; or after the divorce to prevent child support from increasing. I have access to forensic accountants and private investigators that will be able to obtain the information I need to assist in preparing your case. I work closely with my clients throughout their divorce to ensure that their children receive proper support payment. Then I remain available to handle any post-divorce modification dealing with increased or decreased child support and the non-payment of child support orders.
